For almost four years now, I have been using the paid version of Malwarebytes on dozens of computers and have not had any problems reported regarding the use of legitimate websites. When Malwarebytes blocks a site, it is because it has either actively found or previously found the site to contain malicious code or other vulnerabilities which could potentially cause harm to your system. I do receive those warnings on occasion, usually while I am doing some sort of Internet research. I always heed the warning and steer clear of the site. I have trained my clients to do the same. By following this advice, the rate of computer problems on the computers which I maintain is nearly zero. So, you can disregard the Malwarebytes warnings, but you are putting your system at risk. BTW, the only way that you can make the statement that there are no problems with a website is if you have administrative and physical access to the web server and are able to conduct a complete inspection of the operating system, server software and all content. And even then, it would be difficult to confirm such a statement.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] FYI on mal ware bytes

I went to a few web page and found they won't come up. Now these pages have no threats of any kind. Once I shut down mal ware bytes those sites came back. So if anyone is having problems with web pages after using the paid version or trial. Try shutting it down and try them again. Seems a lot of paid virus and spyware programs can't tell the difference. They just want your money.
