JAWS will not see this display automatically. Did you look in JAWS Options, add a braille display? Then, in the Synthesizer and braille manager; Does JAWS see the braille Edge among those listed? if another braille display is still the default, then you will need to change that and/or remove it, if JAWS still doesn't see the braille Edge. if there are no active braille displays, you need to tell JAWS (check) the Braille Edge. Add it in via the Synthesizer and braille manager. If not known as Braille Edge, it may be called Braille Sense.

Hi David. Ok stupid question here, but did you reboot Jaws after you
installed the driver? I know my Blue needed that done when I did it. Just a
thought.

I'm using a focus40 bluee. If you don't have the braille Edge driver for
JAWS, you need to download it from:

http://www.hims-inc.com/resource-center/braille-edge-40/#Jaws-Braille-EDGE-D
river

-- You would then run the .exe file, or else follow the instructions on the above web page. The braille Edge appears to have much in common with
the braille Sense.
