So, I uninstalled JFW including shared components, and reinstalled- then got a message that a running program (JFW apparently) was incompatible with one of the windows components. Called FS, who verified that to troubleshoot this issue you need to make sure all important windows updates are installed, and then check to see if there is an updated display driver available. I have done that and JAWS seems to be working OK now- still crossing fingers :)

The fix is uninstall jaws completely including all shared components and then reinstall Jaws. Hope this helps. DJ Reese -----Original Message----- installed' Has anyone encountered this error? My new Win7 desktop had a hard drive failure and now has a new one- but getting this error with multiple install efforts. I'm wondering if this error more likely indicates a computer problem rather than a JAWS problem?
