Hi, well it is installed in my computer, when I go to a PDF file to scan, I
open up open book aand then I press control P and I get a option of which
printer I want to use, and so in order for open book to work to it's best
capability I must choose "freedom free printer..maybe it is Freedom
scientific thing?

Hi Brian,
You have to pair off Openbook 9 with a printer/scanner that doesn't give you
a headache.

I know for a fact from my friends that HP, Brother, Dell, and cannon it
works good.

HTH, Black Friday is coming...

Hello All,

I have been using OpenBook 9.0 for a little bit over a year now. I notice
that certain files that I scan don't scan very accurately. I use a Epson
printer and scanner combo. Some of the items that I scan give me gibberish
that wasn't part of the original document. When I spoke with Freedom
Scientific, they weren't very helpful in telling me how to generate a more
accurate scan. I already have my workflow set to Most Accurate. If anyone
have any suggestions on how to generate a more accurate scanning experience
I will greatly appreciate them.

Thank you.
