No control, alt and j will cut jaws back on when it has been cut off, for whatever reason.

Press shift + F10. Go to properties and press enter. Tab to the quick command edit box. Type control + J, for jaws for example. The alt will automatically add it self. Tab down to apply, then shift tab to ok. And that's it.
