I do use a password and must continue to do so. This is nothing to do with the problem, I do not think. Read your e-mail, please. Thanks always.

For some reason because my computer has been tampered with against my wishes, not knowledge, by mental midgets, I think I have been removed as Administrator of this computer and consequently I cannot do simple operations that you and everyone else can do. Can you tell me how to check and where if I am Admin. Or not of my own computer? After I determine this, if I am not now, then I will know more and perhaps need to ask how to reinstate my Administratorship once again. Thank you very much for all of your time and expertise. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Trish Sent: Monday, February 17, 2014 2:49 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Uninstalling a Program what is this program? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Liuda" <balciu...@gmail.com> To: <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> Sent: Monday, February 17, 2014 1:46 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Uninstalling a Program Hello again. I really need to get this done. I enter on uninstall from the Applications menu. It begins to uninstall and then I hear and with the JAWS cursor and find User Accounts dialogue, Unknown When these notifications appear yes or no button. If I press Yes, it does not continue. If I press No, it does not continue the process either. Why is this dialogue coming up anyway? If I try the process over, then it will not let me uninstall from the beginning because it says nothing can be done until program is uninstalled or changed. It's a Catch 22 because it will not uninstall the program totally nor will it let me start over or anything else. Why can computers be so complicated to get a simple process accomplished when I am receiving such perfect directions? What am I doing wrong or should I do now, since nothing can be done, apparently??? -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Trish Sent: Monday, February 17, 2014 2:06 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Uninstalling a Program don't press enter, just go to programs/features in control panel, then press the applications key to uninstall and enter here ----- Original Message ----- From: "Liuda" <balciu...@gmail.com> To: "Jaws Users " <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> Sent: Monday, February 17, 2014 1:02 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Uninstalling a Program I keep notes from messages of importance to the group. I need to uninstall a program. I am using Win.7 and JAWS 12. For some reason, neither of these two options works: *Uninstalling a program Once you are on the program you wish to uninstall, just press enter and follow the instructions. To do so, you must be on control panel, programs. When I try this I get to the prompt which stops me from doing anything to this program, least of all, uninstall it. *Press application on the program you want to remove, then choose something like uninstall / change. In the Application menu of my system, there is no word close to change or uninstall anywhere. Can someone offer another idea which will hopefully work??? Thank you very much.
