I reran the IPhone speed test myself, and my download speed was measured as
616 kbps, so if your download speed is 7800 kbps, it sounds like your
connection is pretty fast compared to mine. My upgraded DSL service is
supposed to be activated next Tuesday, so I'll run the IPhone speed test
again, and see whether Verizon actually upgraded my DSL service, or whether
they are just trying to pull a fast one.
