I don't know if the merge utility will set Tom as the active Vocalizer Direct voice. If not, you would need to go to JAWS options/Voices/Voice adjustment. Select the Vocalizer Direct profile and then tab to person and select Tom. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Pinky Sent: Friday, September 19, 2014 04:31 To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] How to move to, Jaws15 from14 When you use the merge feature does that also move the Higher quality voice such as Tom premium voice over to JAWS 15? The only way the old version would be overwritten would be to install the new version to the same folders as the old version. Unless you're tight on disk space, I wouldn't uninstall JAWS 14 after installing JAWS15. I have seen situations where an older version worked better than a newer version. I always keep the latest 2 versions on my system. But if you do uninstall JAWS 14 or any earlier version after installing JAWS 15, as was said, don't delete the shared components. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Mike Boyd Sent: Thursday, September 18, 2014 11:27 To: Jaws Users Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] How to move to, Jaws15 from14 Yes, you can install JAWS 15 over the top of 14, and it will work fine. However, Since you will over w rite JAWS 14 during the install of 15, there is no need to uninstall 14 after the upgrade. hth, Mike blindb...@comcast.nets -----Original Message----- From: Sachin Sent: Wednesday, September 17, 2014 8:55 AM To: Jaws Users Subject: [JAWS-Users] How to move to, Jaws15 from14 Hi everyone, As the subject line suggest I would like to move to Jaws15 from 14.How can I do it?Is it possible to install Jaws15 without uninstalling Jaws14?One more question can I uninstall J14 after the successful installation of Jaws15?
