Google Mail has a nasty habit of occasionally flagging good mail as Spam. There's no way to turn off their f-----g spam filter at all. Here's what you need to do to move items to your inbox:
1. Log into your Gmail account. 2. Navigate by headings. You may be in your inbox to start with. There will be a heading at level 2 which is folders. Below that will be other folders including spam. It will say something like, spam 22, meaning you have 22 items Gmail thinks are spam. Click on that link to open your spam folder. 3. Look for a table. In that table, each message will be listed with an associated checkbox. 4. Move to each checkbox, if there is a message which is not spam, check the box. 5. When you are done, look for a button NotSpam and click on it. Take my advice, I don't use it anyway. Hello Judy, I hear you on that Yahoo account! I got rid of mine a long time ago. The trouble now, is, I am using a gmail account for this group and after just checking my spam folder, there are 44 messages dating back to April of 2014. They keep popping up no matter how many times I delete them and.. now that I listen to them carefully.. some are even old ones from the blindtech list! UGGH! I've looked all through the ribbons to see if I could detect something that might resemble a solution, or hit on a key word, to send these back to my in-box, but nothing there either.. or at least I don't hear anything in them very confusing ribbons! If you find an answer, please share. I'll do the same. Thanks muchly. -----Original Message----- From: Judy Sent: Friday, January 16, 2015 6:23 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Why is this is going to my SPAM filter? Hi, if you have Yahoo email accounts, it has been just terrible for many months. I have to check my spam folder a few times a day and virtually all the messages to this list except for ones that David F. sends, are in the spam folder. I have talked to David about it, but he feels it is a Yahoo problem, which I'm sure it is. I also have the list email address in my contacts, but it doesn't make any difference. I have contacted Yahoo, which I am learning to hate fervently, but nothing has changed. If anyone has any other suggestions I'd sure like to know.
