Another way to get to the Google search quickly is to simply make it the
start page in your browser. Then just launch your browser.

Too get google search shortcut, from your desktop to open up in the edit
field, do the following:
1. Go to google.com
2. Arrow down one time from the edit field, which puts you on the google
search button.
3. Press ALT+f
4. Arrow down to send to submenu, press the right arrow one time.
5. Down arrow to short cut to desktop and press enter 6. Now, when you
press enter on this short cut from your desktop, you will be in the
search edit box, just start typing whatever you are looking for and
press enter.
