Ted,

I realize now it is not in there. You can manually set JAWS
to come up tethered or not. I now have it set not to follow
PC cursor.

You won't; I blew it. Does it start up tethered? If so,
one or another small file is corrupted in your JAWS user
settings.

Hi Ted,
At present, I have the problem corrected. However, the next
time I am in the start up wizard I will look for what you
suggest. I don't recall ever seeing this in there but I will
be interested to check it out.

 Best,
Alan

Jaws cursor into following the PC cursor. Do the, Control,
Insert, + Numpad minus, keystroke twice quickly in less than
1 second. It's kind of tricky so, it might take you a few
attempts. You want to hear Jaws report, the Jaws cursor
will not follow the PC cursor. To hear a better explanation
turn Jaws keyboard help on & do the keystroke twice quickly.
HTH Take care.
