Hi Mario,

Yes, try the following & I'll use the Documents folder as the example:
1. Open your Documents folder, open the View menu with, Alt + V.
2. Make all your settings changes that you would like for all folders &
close the View menu or, if they're already the way you want them do this:
Press, Alt + T, for Tools, press the letter, O, to open Options, & Control +
Tab, to the View tab. The 1st tab on this page is, Apply to Folders. What
you might hear is, You can apply the view (such as Details or Icons) that
you are using for this folder to all folders of this type.
3. Press the spacebar on, Apply to Folders, then spacebar the, Yes, option,
& tab to, Okay & press enter to save & close.
HTH
Take care.
Mike

Subject: [JAWS-Users] default view details

is there a way to set the view details for a folder as the default for
every folder?
I want to have every file have the type, date and size show up in any
folder I look in without having to change the details for a particular
folder. I don't know if I made enough sense but if clarification is
needed, let me know.
