Hi LeDon, You need to go into the, Notifications Customize, in the, Taskbar & Start Menu properties & tell Jaws to show icon in Notifications & this is how Jaws will show in the system tray.
Press the Windows key and type the word Notification in the search box. Use down arrow to the result that says "Show or hide the notification icons on the taskbar and press enter key. Use tab key across the controls. You will find combo boxes for choosing between three actions that can be used for various programs. Each combo box has three choices: 1. Show icon in notifications, 2. Hide icon in notifications, 3. Only show notifications. Use up and down arrow keys in the combo boxes to make the choice you want. You want to tab to the, Applications File for Jaws, Jaws for Windows combobox. Arrow up / down to, show icon in notifications, 1 of 3. Tab to the OK button, press the spacebar, tab to the Okay button again, press the spacebar, to save your changes and exit. Take care. Mike This email was sent from my, iBarstool. But, on my machine for some reason, it doesn't. I have found a work around by going to my desk top and finding the jaws icon. But I can never see jaws in my system tray even though I think that is where it is running from.
