If you wait until the windows 10 install is totally done, you should be OK.
Pressing Windows key+Enter, will turn narrator on, narrator is much smoother in w-10.
You should be able to tab across and set up your computer.
Good luck...

Consider the snow flakes

Consider the snow flakes, as they fall, bright and beautiful one and all.
Watch the snowflakes as they fall, all are different, large and small
Look at the snowflakes as they fall, they are One of God's treasures, created for all. Consider Him, as the blizzard blows, let Him warm your heart, and give Him your soul. Take a walk with Him daily in the snow, pray and meditate on Him whenever you go.
Remember, God loves you and I, trust in His salvation before you die.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Upgrading to Windows 10, Microsoft Accessibility;Says sighted assistance necessary

Hello Gang:

I tried to upgrade an older Dell laptop to Windows 10, yesterday, through
the MS Accessibility Help Desk. But, was unsuccessful, because I had so many
Windows 7 updates to download and install. Still having to download some
today.

However, here is my point. While talking to one of the MS helpers, he told
me, "Well, Sir, you know that when we do the download for Windows 10, there
will be a time, when there is no connection with us, and sighted assistance
will be necessary." I replied, "Well, I understand at that point, I can turn
on the narrator and complete it without sighted assistance."

He said, "I don't think that is really the case. You need sighted
assistance."

Well, according to the notes from Jim Flusche, The narrator is totally
useable, after the 10 install. Or did I misunderstand Jim's instructions?

Two final questions:

1. Does FS send out CDs for the JAWS 17, for those of us with a SMA?

2. Would a CD be a good thing to have for starting a new Windows 10
computer, or can that be done via narrator, as well.

Thanks. Have a great Sunday!

Neil
