I have WLM on win10 laptop. Here is what you do. First, install Windows Live
Mail 2012 on your computer. next, Go to the Google home page and create a
Gmail account if you do not have one. Next, go back to WLM and press alt +
F as in frank. Arrow down to options sub menu and press right arrow. Now,
down arrow to
email accounts and press enter. Next, press enter on new...
Next, type in your email address and pass word, and make sure that
automatically
create the account is checked. Press enter on the Okay button. Now, close
the ribbon and inter your email and password in the WLM edit fields. You
will then get a message saying that it could not except your password. Here
is what I had to do from here. Go back on line to your Gmail account on the
Google page. Go to your in box. You will have a message that you will want
to press enter on. The message will say that WLM does not pass Google's
security standards, because Google does this for all clients, even Outlook.
In this message, there is a link to enter on that says to ignore this and
except your client. After you press enter, find where you need to press
space bar. It will say except my client anyway. After you press space bar on
that, close your on line Gmail account. Go back into WLM and re-enter your
email address and password again. This time, finally, it will except your
information. You
see, Google is set to reject any client. So this is what you have to do, but
after you get through this, your Gmail account will import into WLM and all
