I have the latest JAWS and have Windows 8.1.
This problem only started a couple of days ago and nothing had been installed or deleted from the computer. The hot key had been working just fine. I had been on a website and I was trying to purchase something and it wasn't working too well so I turned off JAWS with the insert+F4 and when I went to use Control+Alt+j it wouldn't work. I did wait for several seconds and nothing happened. I tried using the hot key again a few times and nothing. I went to see if the hot key was still there and it's there. I've turned off the computer and also restarted it but the hot key still doesn't work. If I try to delete the hot key and re-enter it, for some reason I'm taken off the JAWS screen and taken to the Desktop and I have to go back to JAWS in the taskbar and no matter if I try and re-enter the hot key again, it still takes me to the Desktop.
