Hi Guys, I am using Excel 2010 and using Alt+I then R does insert a line. As far as using the insert and hitting the number 5 it does say the whole number. I was wanting to be able to have control to be able to do each number slowly so I can make sure they are correct. Another words being able to arrow over each number one number at a time. I know I can do this using the F2 key but then there is a chance to delete something that way.

Mike- To insert a new line into the open spreadsheet, position the PC cursor on the line after where you want the new line to be inserted. Then press alt+I and then r. George-This must be ALT H I, then R. This may not require the "H" in 2010 or earlier. To read a cell character by character, position the pc cursor on the sell you want to read and press and hold down the JAWSkey and press the SayWord key twice quickly. For the desktop keyboard layout, that would be hold down the numpad insert key and press numpad 5 twice quickly. For the Laptop keyboard layout press and hold the caps lock key and press k twice quickly. Or if you have a numpad, you can use the desktop layout keys as well. To read a cell character by character with the arrow keys would require routing the JAWS cursor to the cell you want to read and making the JAWS cursor active. This can be done by pressing Rout JAWS to PC. Mike - this is a very cool JAWS command, thanks. To select entire lines to copy, Place the PC cursor on the first line you want to copy and press Cap+space to select the entire line. Then while still holding down the JAWSkey press down arrow to the last line. Now all the lines including the first and last lines will be selected. Mike-This is also very cool, again, thanks. -- If I continue to do the same things I have always done and am believing for change in my life That is a form of insanity!
