Thank you Marc. You nailed it. I have been watching
the forum and trying to get a sense of what was
happening before i jumped in. Frankly having to deal
with Rickard (i am familiar with him and his big ego
from weblogic ejb developer forum) didn't appeal to me
at all. He might be a genius but can't play a team
game, he is no good to me. I like a place where i can
freely express my ideas among my peers and not shot
down every time by the likes of Rickard.
We have a bigger goal here, to create an incredible
EJB server with nothing but enthusiasm, joy and
brilliance. This is not our 9-5 job. This work is like
art, it is exhilarating, it is creating, presenting
the world our best for no motivation other than to
say, "look what we can create, when we are let free,
let our imagination run with it. no boundaries, no
limits here". So, personal egos have no place here.
Anyone who wants to play that game is welcome in the
corporate world. Believe me, they will love you for
it.
Thanks again Marc.
