I agree that getSchema() would be handy here. Unfortunately, I don't believe that it exists. There is a getSchemas(), but that's kind of useless in this context. I've patched our code to use dmd.getUserName(), which, as far as I can ascertain, returns exactly what I would expect getSchema() to return anyway. It doesn't seem to effect the unit test suite, and it fixes my problem.
