Hi Bill;

  The EAR file contains two files:  A War and a Jar.  The War contains only the 
classes necessary for the war, and the jar contains only the EJB classes.  There are 
no duplicate classes... I confirmed this 4x.  

  I do not have a copy of the JBoss naming classes in the EAR because the EAR file 
runs inside of the container, and thus, I am assuming those classes are not needed.  

  I thought that if I am using the UCL, I must make a call over the network because 
serialization/deserialization is occurring.  I am not using local interfaces, so I am 
assuming that a network call is going to take place, and thus, I must have the JNDI 
url set.  Is this correct?
