I think you are right. There is no need for graph per test in the nightly build.
The acuracy of the memory released per test is not guaranteed though, correct. There might be resources that the container might decide to release at a later point - such as pooled connections, which doesn't mean that there is a leak. Can you expand on the algorithm used to intercept test cases and tie the information to the junit results?
