Yeah I also removed foreign key constraints from my tables. This is pretty silly though.

How are other people handling this? Use another CMP2 engine? I can image that for many projects it is a requirement to have foreign keys or map to existing databases. How do you solve that with JBoss?
You don't. CMP in JBoss 3.0 is designed to meet the spec requirements and not much else. In JBoss 4.0 we will address legacy database structure support and mapping to non JDBC data sources.
