I don't have a problem with a "venting" session first... Let people get them out of there systems. It makes it easier to work on those problems after. its like having kids: you have to put them from time to time outside, so that they can shout, run, trip, hurt, run again... It makes it easier to deal with their frustrations if they got all that of their system.
