Hi I use outlook 2013 and I was having a problem but here is what I do now.
1. I go to the document and sit on the title of it and then hit space bar and then copy it to the clipboard. 2. Then I go to the email and in the message field hit paste to email then to check it is there shift tab and it will tell you attached it then hit tab back into message field and send it when all other things are done you want to do to send the message.
