Hi Shane

It should not take that long, I would expect a dialog box that tells you
about preparation and transfer.

Two things

If nothing else do you have an alternate method of putting those files onto
the SD?

Say a Card reader on-board or an external? Something other than the phone.

This hopefully should work for a single or multi transfer. After you hear
selected, use your applications key to activate copy. And reverse for the
phone. Navigate to the SD and use your menu options as opposed to the
control plus V.

Yes both methods are supposed to do the exact thing but I have run into a
couple situations where this did make the difference.

I don't know enough about the android scene to make a recommendation on sync
software.

Hi Jeff, yes, I've tried selecting one file at a time, and then copying, and
then pasting. However, even when I try this method, and select the file,
when I press Ctrl C it says nothing's been selected. I'm using jaws 11 with
Windows Vista. If I can ever get these to copy and paste, how long should I
have to wait before everything is completed? This is where I'm confused,
when I do a shift right arrow, I hear selected but as I said above, when I
go to copy, I hear nothing is selected. Shane

It does not sound as if you are doing anything wrong but have you tried a

single file at a time?

When you tried the mass transfer you did wait a respectable amount of time

right? Although the SD can hold them it would take time to transfer via USB.

Subject: Copying files from pc to phone

Hello everyone, I'm wanting to copy some music files from my computer to my

galaxy s5. When I plug my phone up to the computer, I go to computer, and

fine the phone Drive and SD card drive. However, when I go to my music list,

I cannot get any of the files to copy. To select files, isn't that Shift +

right arrow? And to copy and paste, is control C and control V respectively?

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here, but for some reason the files arn't

copying and pasting in the SD card area. Any help
is greatly appreciated,

thanks so much. Shane.
