I do recall a few instances within the last few months where I suddenly
found myself in insert/overtype mode. I cannot remember if it was in
Windows Live Mail, Word, or Outlook. In any case, all I could do is turn
insert mode off, and the command always worked.

I am using JAWS with Windows 8 on a Surface computer and with aFocus
braille display with speech echo turned off. Since I upgraded JAWS a few
days ago, I have found that as I type in an e-mail or Word Document, letters
will regularly not get entered where they should in a word but then get
carried along ahead of my cursor until I notice them and edit. I am not
saying my typing is blameless, but I have only seen this specific behaviour
since upgrading. Thoughts?
