Right now for speech I'm using just a portable version of NVDA, although the narrator in 8.1 is usable in most common tasks. I plan to attempt to install JAWS in a few days but I'm not sure if the 1 GB of memory would be sufficient. As far as the interface, I'm using a bluetooth keyboard. A USB keyboard does work as well. It's not a work machine for sure but for common stuff, email, facebook, web pages, skype, etc it's fine. I love the size and price, 8 inch tablet on sale for $100 US.
