The way this began for you, it doesn't sound like a security setting is 
involved. 

I don't know which email program you're using. For a long time in Outlook, I 
had to go to the second character in a link to make it open. So, with one that 
began http..., I would right-arrow once to the first t, then press enter to 
execute the link. You might try that. Does it make sense? No, but the list 
member who long ago suggested it saved me a boat-load of grief because it was 
the only solution that worked.

Hi all,

After a recent update, when I press enter on a link which is sent to me by 
email, Internet Explorer does not allow to open it. Is there any security 
settings I need to change? I think once I heard a message saying something 
dealing with Java scripts. How can I change those scripts with JAWS?

I am using JAWS 16.
