Hi Gezim,

Could the links be in plain text? Try the following:
To open links sent in plain text, try the following for Outlook Express &
these might work in WLM as well.
#1. Place the cursor at the beginning of the link & invoke the keystroke,
Shift + Enter.

#2. Place the cursor at the beginning of the link & invoke the keystroke,
Alt, Shift, + H. Invoking this particular keystroke on a link somehow turns
the link into
an HTML link & now, just press enter.

For Outlook or Windows Live Mail try the following;
1, in the windows live mail inbox, Open the message containing the link.

2, now press, Insert+f7, This will bring up a list of links in the message,
Now you can arrow to the link and press enter. This should now load the link
into the browser.

HTH
Take care.
Mike

I'm using Windows Live Mail, I tried your suggestion, but it didn't work for
me.

A friend of mine suggested that I install Firefox instead, but I got the
message saying something like my security settings does not allow the
installation.

I am looking forward to your recommendations.

Regards,
Gezim

The way this began for you, it doesn't sound like a security setting is
involved.

I don't know which email program you're using. For a long time in Outlook, I
had to go to the second character in a link to make it open. So, with one
that began http..., I would right-arrow once to the first t, then press
enter to execute the link. You might try that. Does it make sense? No, but
the list member who long ago suggested it saved me a boat-load of grief
because it was the only solution that worked.

Subject: Can't open links on Internet Explorer

Hi all,

After a recent update, when I press enter on a link which is sent to me by
email, Internet Explorer does not allow to open it. Is there any security
settings I need to change? I think once I heard a message saying something
dealing with Java scripts. How can I change those scripts with JAWS?

I am using JAWS 16.

Cheers,
Gezim
