Thanks, I have JAWS for DOS up and running with my Dectalk Express. I
chose the only option (can't remember which it was) that seemed to allow me
a choice of Comm port. The others were for stand alone machines, it
seemed, though I had to do a little guessing here. Anyway, it seems to be
happily running whether in a DOS box or in DOS.
Anyway, though not brilliant, it's up and running and could be useful.
Looking at JFD for the first time, I was encouraged to see how far HJ had
come just in the menu structures and general tidying up of their JFW.
There's still more room for improvement, of course, but I certainly felt I
was going back a little when it came to working on the configuration file.
