Hi Carol, Ammar here.
G2 pluss is far much superior to version five for the following reasons:
1 - There are shortucts for most of the commands, and they are working
perfectly except for the volume down which is control plus cursor down.
2 - The sound is far superior, you'll not get this gurgling sound which we
used to get with version 5.
3 - There is an equalizer which controls six or eight frequences - I'm not
sure -, it can be easily manipulated with the Jaws cursor.
4 - you don't need any scripts to run the program.
5 - with the upgrade, you get a "CdStream" program, which enables you to
compress your wave files to 4% of its original size. In other words, a Cd
would take aproximately 25 normal audio Cds' without any noticable loss of
quality.
5 - You get so many presets and you can put them into separate folders such
as "classic, Pop, Western, or international".
6 - You may scan using one of two methods: either presets, or www addresses.
In breif, it is far superior, and I found almost no problem in using it
with Jaws.
