I use the deluxe version of eZ CD creator all the time to make audio and data cd's and
it is perfectly speech-friendly.
direct Cd works on an entirely different principle. Direct CD allows you to use your
cd writer as if it were just another
removable medium. You can use windows explorer or even dos to copy files to your cd
writer when Direct Cd is
installed. Thus you can only use it to make data cd's. I personally don't like
direct CD very much because it is not
completely stable on all machines. For example I use to use it under win98 to move
files to a cd for storage. After
opening about the third or fourth session I opened Direct CD screwed up the disk and I
lost all of the data I had stored
there. I have found EZ CD creator to be much more reliable for moving data files to
cd and it makes great audio cd's as
well. I highly recommend getting the deluxe version.
