Yes. You can run a DOS screen reader in a full screen DOS window. I am not sure
about the specifics of using the
Screen Power software and the Gateway software with your Braille display. I will be
installing the Braille Power software
in this manner shortly, as I have occasions where I want to use my PowerBraille with
MegaDots in a DOS window.
A common problem when configuring DOS screen readers to run under DOS windows is the
utilization of external
speech synthesizers or other access devices where there is a driver installed either
in config.sys or autoexec.bat.
