Hi!
I use a dos screenreader called asap automatic screen access program from
microtalk.  It works in a dos window, so long as you have your use dos
screenreader in dos boxes option checked in your jfw configuration.  Try
doing this with screenpower and see if the loss of communication problem
goes away.
