Hi all,
If one could buy the right stuff the first time and save time, money and
have perfectly identical backups for JAWS and the hard drive, then this is
JAWS related.
Why not bypass the zip drive and get an HP CD burner. Then one could
make a CD from which to restore from a serious crash, make perfect
copies of JAWS in case it bets damaged and easily copy files or the hard
drive using said CD burner. The Cds are cheap enough.
Then with the right software, one could make perfectimages and one would
not have to worry about the key thing. Also onecould store one's CD off site
and/or keep another copy on site.
This makes sense to me having spoken with JAWS users. If had the
ability to make CD copies, then there would be copies of the 19 patch still
around or people could reinstall to their heart's content. JAWS is
excellent, but correcting mistakes is vital since making mistakes is a part
of life.
using a CD seems a lot easier than reinstalling everything, doesn't it?
I wish I had put $300 in this direction from the beginning. Thanks in
advance to all and for this marvelous list.people
