Hi,
Is anybody on this list using JFW 3.2 with the Super Braille computer? If
so, I need to hear from you. I'll be working on one of these units soon,
and I need specifics regarding upgrading the JFW package from 2.0 to 3.2.
The Super Braille appears to have a Sounding Board chip onboard, as you can
hear it speak during the boot process. One thing that strikes me as very
peculiar, though, is that the jfw.ini file doesn't refer to any
synthesizers directly. Instead, it has a line in there that reads:
driver=superbrl
So, I need to know what to specify for the onboard synthesizer and Braille
display during the JFW 3.2 install.
I've tried for nearly a week to contact the manufacturers of the Super
Braille but I only get an answering machine and nobody returns my calls.
Bummer. That situation could get old real fast. Can anybody give me some
tips so I can proceed with work on this machine?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers!
Tom
