If I remember the problem, it was that the synth did not talk in dos. I
solved this by the way by the use of a batch file to load my screen
reader instead of having it be continuously loaded. I cheated though.
I had the program exit windows and restart in dos mode. I had to make
this compromise due to a driver conflict issue that was unresolvable
namely the driver for using the keynote gold as an accent.
