Thanks for the input Steve, but I'm still a little confused. Are you
talking about the beta scripts at the hj site?  If so, I tried to install
them specifically for Dragon Dictate (I haven't installed Naturally
Speaking on the user's computer, but will if I need to) and they didn't
seem to work. All that I really needed the scripts for is so that the user
will be able to know when his microphone is awake or asleep.

Hi Roger:
I'm using DragonDictate with JFW and the new scripts.  They are separate
from the scripts for NaturallySpeaking and therefore run independently.
In my opinion, the DragonDictate scripts work quite well but are somewhat
incomplete for document editing.  The NaturallySpeaking scripts work pretty
well, but need improving.
