Hi Roger:
In order to know whether the microphone is on or off, you would say "which
microphone is on". That is, if the scripts and the .wav files are copied
correctly into the correct folders.
I prefer my way.
When I say "wake up" DragonDictate plays a short sound file of my choice.
I change files from time to time. Likewise, when I say "go to sleep"
DragonDictate plays another file and when I say "are you awake?",
DragonDictate plays "yes" or "no" depending on whether the microphone is
awake or not.
It's easy to do, but it's somewhat involved. If you'd like, I'll send you
sample .wav files and you are welcome to call me at:
804-285-6767.
