I know I just explained how to allow jaws to let you use your dos screen
reader when in a dos box but heres something else... One thing to try is
loading the configuration manager from anywhere. While there, go to the
advanced menu to put jaws in sleep mode. If you want you can also have it
unload your synthesizer. Now, wait, go to ok, and go to file, and then to
save as. the hot key for this is control plus the letter A. Now, when there,
type exactly, ms-dos. it is not necessary to add an extention but if you
want add: jcf.
before you do all this. there is a place that you can go to within the
properties of the dos prompt and there is a place where you can add a batch
file to run when accessing DOS. IN other words, with a batch file that you
created to run jaws for dos, there is a place in the properties dialog in
which you can tell it to run this batch file upon loading the ms-dos prompt
program.
