To set the 'use DOS Screen reader' option, go to [utilities] [configuration
manager] [set options] [advanced] and check the box. You probably want to
do this for the default configuration, so, after entering configuration
manager, do 'ctrl-shift-d' to work on the default file.
I'm not sure that starting JFD in 'autoexec' is a good idea. I'd say you're
better served by starting the DOS box, then manually running a batch file to
load JFD. Also, you can have, as a property of your MS DOS Prompt shortcut,
the name of a batch file to run on startup of the DOS box.
Good Luck,
