You can set a frame around the clock. First activate the jaws cursor and
press pagedown. This will put you on the last line of the window. If you
want the whole line silenced then press home followed by ctrl-ins-left
bracket. Then press end and ctrl-ins-right bracket. This will
automatically start the frame manager and the first field wants a name.
Put in something like "SilenceClock". Then in the sinopsis field type a
little description like: makes the clock silent. Then you can skip the
description field and move on to a set of radio buttons. Of these select
"echo silent" or something like that. Then tab on to the next field and
this allows you to set a hotkey for a frame. This will read the contents
of the frame when pressed. You can decide whether to leave it blank or
not. This done, press enter and you are through. Good luck!
