Hello list,

If this subject has been covered in the past, I apologize.
However the place where I work is wanting to use the Acrobat
Accessibility for some of our research materials for our
students.

If you would like, please reply off list.

Yesterday, I downloaded the acrobat reader, and the
accessibility plug in for it.
I had no problem with installing acrobat, but the plug in is a
different matter altogether.
While the plugin has been installed, I still haven't configured
it for the browser. When I read the help files with JFW, it
works ok.

This is the situation.

I am wanting to run the plug in with MSIE4.01. The instructions
are kind of for netscape. In fact they even say that the
instructions for netscape are not completely accurate. They
also
go on to say that if you follow the same instructions, that you
will be able to configure any browser.
Not true.
None of the options, or at least most of them are not available
in explorer.
Finally, I downloaded the HTML page that had the instructions on
it for explorer 4.01.
Now then, I have to copy files, rename files, move files, open
the application and then close it. As well as other rather
ridiculous stuff.
This is suppose to be an access plugin!
Access Access Access Access Access.
Some people say that they have no problems with adobe acrobat
and the Accessibility plugin, and I have also heard of many
others having all kinds of problems.
This is why I am wanting to do it right.
Is there any from MSIE4.01 that I can set the plugin to work.
Why wasn't the plugin given all the necessary different web
browsers installation options instead of manually installing all
the many different files.

If someone on the list can list step by step how to install the
plugin to my browser, I sure would appreciate it. I already
have the plug in installed, I just don't have MSIE configured,
or acrobat configured for the browser.
Please help.
Many thanks in advance for anyone's assistance.
