I think your refering to NetZero, not ZeroNet.

yes, I have tried NetZero, it works fine! The reason the ad window
doesn't bother speech users is due to the fact that the window is
actually running strictly as a JAVA based app. Since are screen
readers don't read in a pure java environment, the window actually says
nothing at all.
There are a few miner problems:
Since the window says absolutely nothing, when you ALT-tab to it,you
wil hear nothing and you can't move the window at all. Sighted users
can move it so that it is somewhere more convenient on the screen, we
can't! Sometimes, I have found that window will overlap another
running app, sometimes, this causes miner problems when working with
the other app! Also, when you fill out the forms to sign up, although
you can tab to the next button, it is necessary for you to route Jaws
to PC and actually click it. The enter key and spacebar dont' work.
Also, about every 20 minutes, you get an inactivity warning even if
your surfing or whatever. This is because, unless you scroll the ad
window, it is assumed your not active. JFW wil read the inactivity
warning, it is then necessary to route Jaws to PC and click the resume
button. If you don't do this quick enough, you will be logged off.
Other than those miner annoyances, it works about as good as most other
ISPS in the Chicagoland area!
