I use Netzero when on the road all the time. The web site is a bit funky
and as I recall the installer used some custom controls but it isn't too
complicated to handle. The Window that displays ads uses Java exclusively
and JFW doesn't read a thing in it. It is no big deal though because it is
only ads and once connected you can run everything as normal. Many ISPs
allow you to connect to their pop3 server even when not on their network so
you can still usually get and send email with no extra configuration.
