To read the "from" field, do the following:
(1) Open the message.
(2) Goto file menu and arrow down to Properties and hit enter.
(3) Control tab to Details.
(4) Tab to Message Source. Now you can arrow down right through the message
and read the "from" field.
To reply privately, just send a new message to the individual. I had the
same problem at first--it's not obvious!
