Hello listers.
My query, this morning, is addressed more to programmers or active script
writers than anyone else. When writing scripts for JFW, or programming for
anything else, for that matter, I prefer to use a flexible editor, capable
of simultaneously handling multiple files, between which one can easily
switch, transfer material etc., rather than using the script manager,
supplied with JFW, functional as it is. At present, I use CodeWright, good
but not configurable. I am looking for something more like q edit that I
used to use in dos. I have no idea whether or not such a creature exists
for Windows. The Windows version of Q Edit is not satisfactory for my
purposes.
If any of you have found an editor that is highly flexible, will handle
multiple files, as is necessary when scripting for JFW, and can be
configured, please write to me personally, or even to the list since I'm
sure this topic would be of interest to our growing number of script
writers who may find, as I do, that the script manager is a bit slow and
awkward to use.
Thanks.
