Re: zip drives and jfw 3.2 with braille

Walter, I think the actual questions were about a zip drive chaine to a
braille display. In this case, I think you may have problems. Parallel
devices are not great as a chain like usb or scsi devices are. I would
never recommend chaining a braille display off of anything, whether it be a
zip drive or a scanner. Usually those pass through connectors are designed
for printers that don't require a lot of communication to work properly. I
would never recommend chaining a zip drive into a scanner into a printer or
braille display. That is better served for scsi or usb.
