sure, in control panel, go to users and follow the instructions. set
a profile for the settings you absolutely want saved thereby
preventing alteration unless they go to control panel disable it and
then restart the pc which seems like it would be tough. there could
be two profiles. one regular, the other custom for jfw and each
profile would have a password. this envolves the responsibility
though of the person deciding to be cruel having to log off as the
sighted profile and logging on as the one for jfw and not touching it
or logging off the jfw one if it is up and logging on to the one that
is set to .98 defaults.
hope this helps. it is a dangerous game. there other things that can
be done too and if needed, we can discuss those drastic measures like
making certain files read-only.
