Hi Carol. No doubt about it, out of the box, Windoweyes is extremely verbose, although the verbosity settings are incredibly configurable. This change I'm suggesting wouldn't really change JFW's verbosity, it would just allow you to elect to get JFW to do some fancy work so that you don't get text truncated any more in certain WIndows controls. While the control and numpad plus combination addresses this to some extent in Windows Explorer, this doesn't work in the majority of other applications. However, this discussion may be fruitless, because it may involve such a radical change in Henter-Joyce's off screen model that it's simply not doable.
